{Gator} Baby

In our household Saturday's during the fall = football day. For those of you who don't know we are die hard Gator Fans (It's Great to be a Florida Gator!)

Well last weekend as we were suiting up for the big game (ie domination over Tennessee) I realized that my sweet little Averee only had one Gator shirt in her closet that still fit!!! OMG How could we have let this happen! How is she supposed to get away with just one shirt for 14 Saturdays (Yeah I'm hopefully we will be playing through January!). Sure sure you say....Just do laundry and she can wear that same shirt. But I would have to respond with..."Well where's the fun in that?!?"

So on our quest for some new digs and a need to stay on a budget (ie $20+ shirts/dress weren't in our future) I decided to bust out the glue gun....and here's what I got.

Now I know what you are thinking....that she is the most beautiful toddler that you have ever seen! Or "Wow, Orange and Blue are such incredible colors together!" OK ok...so maybe I wont be converting you as a Gator Fan yet but the great thing is these onsies and bows can be made with any fabric/colors (although I stand by my statement that Orange and Blue are by far the best!)

The coolest thing about the onsie is...

The applique is interchangeable!

What'd ya think?

Stay tuned to learn how you can make your very own fabric flower clippie/applique!

  3. I totally understand this post. Before Taylor was born, she had tons of Alabama clothes. Now she only has about 3 outfits that I rotate every Saturday. I can't wait to see how you make them. I think they'll be cuter in CRIMSON, though! ROLL TIDE ROLL!! hahaha! Just teasing.... :)
