{All in the Family}

Family.

I must say that I am blessed....very blessed. Growing up I knew that I was a part of something special. I have the most incredible family. Although I am an only child never once did I feel alone. With my amazing parents and incredible aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents I always had the love and support that I needed.

Imagine my surprise when my husband and I started dating and I first met his family and realized that they are super amazing too!

The only down side....a lot of our family lives ridiculously far away.

We had a nice little visit recently though and I thought I would share a couple of photos with you...a little glimpse into the life of the Real Life Mom. Nothing fancy, nothing exciting...just a day at the park!

It was such a perfect day and such a perfect way to spend some time with our family! Averee loved visiting with her Grandma and cousin....and so did we. It seems that these trips always pass by way to quickly but I cherish every moment. Every. Single. Moment.

{Wordless Wednesday} Santa Claus is comin to town

So we finally went to meet Santa today....

It didn't exactly go as planned. The plan being.....Averee sit on Santa's lap and get a lovely photo to add to her Santa and Me book....

 She was totally not letting go...

So we opted for a family photo instead...

Stranger anxiety was in full force today!

Here's the official Santa photo! At least we were all happy!

Oh well! We have a good memory of the girls second Santa photo :)

{Wordless Wednesday} I am Thankful for...

 

My beautiful baby girl....she lights up the whole world around her! She has made me want to be a better person and has shown me how to love and live every moment!

My incredible husband...he never seems to stop making me laugh and I really love him more and more each day! He really is my very best friend.

My amazing Mom and Dad! They have been there through it all and have offered me so much love and support! I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for them!

My precious puppy...Although she drives me crazy at times... she knows how to love with all her heart! She is Ian, Averee and my very best friend!

I am also thankful for all of my wonderful family and friends, my health and that of my families, my home, my career and above all else, God, who has made all of this possible!

{Wordless Wednesday} Fall Festival

I love the fall. I have always thought that spring time was my favorite but I love reminiscing in the fall. And I am loving the effect cross processing has right now....if you couldn't tell :)

Av loved every minute of the festival. She squealed and laughed on all the rides, enjoyed all the great yummy food and I think genuinely enjoyed hanging with her mommy and daddy. And guess what....we loved every minute of it as well! It was a beautiful day with my beautiful family!

{Wordless Wednesday}: The Little Red Wagon

I don't know what it is but there is something about a red wagon that brings me back in time....

The thing I love is how simple life used to be and I think the simplicity of a little wagon is what brings me back. It's a nice way to just take a little moment out of our hectic lives to releax and enjoy these "plain" moments that make life extraordinary!

 Ahhh I just love these beautiful fall nights. Averee was all dressed in her jammies but we headed outside for a few minutes to enjoy this beautiful weather. Bliss!
