This year, however, I thought I would switch things up a bit and add just a small touch of "love" to our home.
Here's what I came up with....
(Photo shoot inspired by Little Miss Momma. You can find me over at her I {Heart} Your Face party...I decided to take her challenge and let me tell you I had a blast...You should totally join in on the fun!)
Here's the how too....
For the wreath you'll need tulle (I used left over from a tutu I made), a foam wreath form and some matching ribbon. Follow my Tutu Cute Tutorial for tying the tulle to the form and you are done! Total Cost for me? About $2...I just had to buy the wreath (with a coupon of course!) I love the extra girly touch that it adds! Poor Ian!
For the Candles I used this tutorial on how to ruffle burlap. I glued the burlap to the candle and tied some ribbon around it! I figured these candles can go through multiple seasons with a simple change of ribbon! Total cost for me? Free....I used supplies I already had!
Then I "shopped" our house for the rest! The plant was one we received from a neighbor after Averee was born (I know I can't believe I have kept it alive this long!) and the tall candle with the ribbon and pearls is actually our unity candle from our wedding...I thought it added a nice touch of "love".
And because I want to share the love I thought I would share with you this printable so you can easily add a small touch to your home! Simply right click on the image below, save to your computer and either print at home or at your local photo shop. Add to your favorite frame and viola! You're done!

Since I really appreciate all of you I thought I would share the original print I made but then later decided to use a different color scheme.Image size 4 x6
So what do you think? I'm quite happy with it! I believe a small touch can go a long ways!
PS: A HUGE shout out to Robin over at All Things Heart and Home! There was an issue with uploading the images due to them being on Flickr. I have fixed the images so you should just be able to right click and save to your computer. Please let me know if there is any issue and also head on over and check out All Things Heart and Home! Thanks Robin!
