{Project Nursery}: Shabby Chic

So I just couldn't do it...I couldn't stay away from all the girly glory of a baby girls nursery. This week I promise you will not be disappointed. This nursery is one of the most thought out, most gorgeous, most girly nursery I have ever seen.

I had the honor of meeting the creator of this adorable nursery a little over a year ago through a mutual friend. Rebecca is such a sweet woman and if you have followed along the RLM you have actually meet her before. She is the owner of Sweet & Chic Bowtique (my favorite bow headquarters!). Rebecca is just oozing with talent and her precious baby girls nursery shows her precision to detail.

So here it is....a little bit of Shabby....a little bit of Chic...

I am just dieing over this gorgeous dresser! And I am totally in love with the shape of the mirror!
Swoon.

This sweet little table is just perfect and I adore the black framed mirror.

This is just beautiful. Rebecca combined some antiques with some other fabulous finds to create this darling display.

There is so much in the photo that I love. The bedding, the rug, the striped wall and how could you miss the stunning letters above the crib!

How adorable is this chair!

These letters deserve a photo all to themselves. Rebecca took elements from throughout the room from Emerson's bedding to her glider and incorporated it into each letter. Oh and the beautiful saying across the top of her crib...Vinyl lettering of course!

And to top off Rebecca's amazing talents she is now a Independent Stylist for Stella & Dot! If you are not familiar with Stella & Dot you need to head to Rebecca's Stella & Dot facebook page! Amazing!

Thank you Rebecca for sharing your daughter's gorgeous nursery! I think we can all agree that we really enjoyed it!

What it is your favorite part? For me I just can't decide...but I think it is that sweet little chair!

**All photos provided by Rebecca. Sweet & Chic Bowtique is currently closed for a little break. Become a fan of her Facebook page though for information when she reopens. She is taking a little break to give a little extra love to her sweet little girl who is, as Rebecca said, in the thick of her terrible twos....I think we can all relate! Thanks again Rebecca for sharing!**

{Project Nursery}: It's a Jungle Out There

So remember that sweet Queen Bee nursery a few weeks back....well guess what...Avery (the mommy who is the Queen Bee) is expecting a little boy and designed a room that is seriously out of this world!

With the combination of green and black (yes black!) Avery took this nursery to an entire new level! It is so stylish yet so fun...I know baby Tucker is going to grow to love this fantastic space especially with the incorporation of all those jungle animals!

Why hello Mr Rug aka Gorgeousness....Can I please take you home!?!

Check out the art work with baby Tucker's name (above his crib) and initials....Guess what...Avery painted them herself!

I just love this lamp! And the fish on the self!

Did you see the bedding? I'm pretty sure it doesn't get any better then that!

The wall scones are seriously to die for! Can I move in?

Avery did such an incredible job with this nursery. She took a chance with a color that I'm sure many were telling her would be ridiculous in a baby's room BUT she made it amazing! Awesome work Avery!

So what do you think? Have you ever taken a chance with a home decor choice? I would love to hear!

All Photos provided by Avery. Thank you for sharing your incredible nursery!

{Project Nursery}: Queen Bee

Pink and Brown....probably my all time favorite color combination (these are the colors I used for our wedding decor!) I just love how soft and warm the colors feel together and of course they are oh so girly! The pink brings such a carefree, lighthearted feel while the brown brings in a wholesome, natural touch.

Imagine how excited I was when I first saw this gorgeous room created by a sweet friend. Avery, didn't let anything get by her when creating this room for her beautiful daughter. She really has an eye for design and was able to create such a sophisticated yet fun nursery! Callie sure is one lucky little lady!

Stunning! The dark mocha with the soft pink...I'm in heaven!

And I can just imagine all the sweet moments they have spent rocking by that gorgeous window!

So elegant and whimsical!

I just love the sweet bee's that are fluttering along Callie's bedding. And the sweet little piggies mingling throughout....oh and the way Avery incorporated Callie's name and monogram onto so many things! I really believe this adds such a special, custom touch to a babies room! And the crown above her bed!?! WOW! This room is really fit for a queen....or maybe a princess in training :)

Avery also added a very special touch to her daughter's room by framing a letter from her father that he wrote while Avery was still pregnant. Such a beautiful way to cherish such a sweet memory!

Thank you Avery for sharing this beautiful room with us! I can't wait to show you whats in store next week!

{Project: Nursery} Let's Sail Away

If you don't know by now I am a total sucker for all things pink. It is like something in me is just drawn to it and anything I see I have to have! My obsession goes so deep even my sweet college roomie bought a pair of pink socks for me because well....she thought of me when she saw them! So it is only natural that I am attracted to little girl's nurseries because of the color! Imagine my excitement when I found out we were expecting a little girl! Our home was quickly filled with all things pink!

But boy do I have a treat for you today! I am throwing pink aside to show you one of the most adorable little boys nurseries that I have ever seen! Honestly, if I ever have a little boy I think I will be calling Kelsey (mommy to this little boys nursery) to see if she could help design one for our home!

So let's sail away...

I just love the anchor and lifesaver raft....not to mention baby Coleson's name on his sailboat pillow! And that lamp shade! Swoon!

The furniture is simply gorgeous! And I just love the red, white and blue!

I am a total sucker for names above cribs. I have actually read articles before where they state this is great for a baby because it helps to expose them to words (well at least one!) and learn that those "things" have a meaning.

Totally dieing over this rug! It is so perfect!

Kelsey added so many special touches with the sailboat and the buoy...bringing the whole room together.

This is adorable and again I just love how Kelsey incorporated Coleson's name into so many aspects of his room!

Even the shelf has a nautical theme!

 Amazing right?

Such a fun way to display his library while still tying in the theme!

If you haven't realized it yet I love embroidery and monograms!

The furniture, the theme, the colors....it is all just perfect! Kelsey did an amazing job incorporating the theme into the entire room. I think Coleson is one lucky little boy and that he is going to really enjoy his room for many years to come!

So what do you think? Total perfection!

Thank you Kelsey for letting the Real Life Mom sharing your son's amazing nursery! All photos were provided by Kelsey.
